OUR LATEST ACQUISITION
We are pleased to announce an exciting new development in the future of our company. "The Bull Inn" at Broughton near Skipon, North Yorkshire will shortly come alongside the "Shibden Mill Inn " as our sister hotel. It is part of the Broughton Hall Country House Estate & Business Park, owned by Lord Tempest. As progress is made, we shall keep you posted with information and updates......KEEP WATCHING !

AUGUST 2002
PAPERWORK COMPLETED...
Well, the papers have been signed, hands have been shaken, keys handed over and we are now busy decorating and refurbishing. There is no set date yet for the reopening, but we are hoping it will be before the end of this month. As soon as we have a date we'll let you know...... Our current chef Neil Butterworth along with his wife Jane, are moving from the Shibden and will be taking the "bull by the horns", so to speak, it is sure to be an exciting and rewarding move for them both.......
Finally, we are pleased to introduce Simon, who will be the new Head Chef here at the Shibden, you are assured the same high standards as before, so be sure to call in and show your support.... More information on Neil and Simon next month.

OPEN FOR BUSINESS...
Having spent a few weeks redecorating and refurbishing, we are now pleased to announce that our sister pub, "The Bull" is open for business. So the next time you find yourselves in North Yorkshire, please call in, and meet the new managers, Neil (our former Head Chef), and his wife Jane. You are assured the same quality of food and fine wines, not forgetting a warm welcome.
Take the A59 to the west of Skipton and The Bull is situated on the left, approximately 2 miles down the road.

PAY A VISIT...
The Bull, now part of the Shibden Mill Inn, is our second venture, and the new management are Neil and Jane Butterworth. Neil, our former Head Chef who last year won Yorkshire Life Magazine's prestigious 'Dining Pub Of The Year' award and one rosette for his excellent food, combined with his experience gained from working in some of London's top restaurants, is bound to make a culinary mark at The Bull and in the area. The Bull is a source of great pride for Neil and Jane as everything is home-made, and they mean everything, from their own sausages to sauces and dressings to ice-cream. All freshly made with only the finest produce. An A La Carte menu with a light dining choice there is something to suit everyone.
