Straw yellow colour with slight tinges of gold. This Pinot Grigio has a pleasant and delicate bouquet with floral and fruity scents. Crisp and fresh on the palate. Highly versatile

24. KABINETT Nahe. Kreuznacher Kronenberg
An attractive summer flowers bouquet, fine, medium sweet fruit flavours reminiscent of Granny Smith apples, crisp with upfront fruit which is typically Kabinett in quality with fresh fruit and acidity.

26. "LA BATTISTINA" ARALDICA
The La Battistina vineyard is a small south facing 20 hectare strip of land combining limestone and clay, around the town of Gavi. Hand harvested 100% Cortese grapes from on average 30 year old vines, stainless steel ferment for 1 month remaining on lees for 3 months. Rich, ripe poached pear character, hints of peach with zingy acidity, minerality, almonds and immensely long finish.

27. ROBERTSON. WELTEVREDE ESTATE
The climate and soils in the region are well-nigh perfect for the vine, with a higher emphasis now being given to the classic varieties. Gewurztraminer has been grown on this estate in this lush green fertile valley since 1843. Exotically perfumed with a charming rose petal character, combining rich spice and exotic, lychee fruit.

28. 'RESERVE' ALSACE. CAVE DE TURCKHEIM
Forget Chardonnay, or Sauvignon Blanc, apparently Riesling is the original noble grape varietal. Powerful citrus and floral fruit characters balanced with great minerality and a superb, deliciously long steely crisp finish.

29. MINERVOIS. Le Moulin des Nonnes
Organic, 3 month in French Oak barrels. Fragrant nose with a touch of nutty oak. Full and rich with a real explosion of fruit on the palate. Lots of tangy lime and spices with a grapey freshness. Spice and subtle oak give an extra depth and length. Long, honeyed, rich and spicy with nutty oak.

30. MARLBOROUGH. Omaka Springs Estate
Vibrant aroma of passionfruit, limes and grassy herbs nifty and pleasing, fresh and zesty, expressing fine flavours of dried grapefruit rind, ripe melons bursting with limes, passionfruit, gooseberries and lots of juice fruit sweetness.

31. MULCHEN. Santa Emillana
Another new rising star from Chile. Careful handling and vinification has produced a wine pale green in colour with pineapple and lemon on the nose. Light tropical fruit characteristics with citrus notes. Balanced, medium bodied, refreshingly clean with a crisp finish

32. "MARGARET RIVER". MCHENRY HOHNEN
David Hohnen, creature of Cape mentelle and Cloudy Bay wineries latest family venture. Aromatics jump from the glass - pineapple, passionfruit, gooseberry and fresh apricot. Piquent and juicy, the flavour matches the aromas, all framed with gentle phenolics and fresh acidity.

33. THE SEAFOOD WINE. Bodega Bardadillo
Highly aromatic, Spanish lemon, celery seed, green apple. Light bodied citrus flavours with nice mineral notes and great balance. Soft and very easy.....

34. "DORICUM" Feudi di Sant Eufamia
Sicilian wine obtained by a selection of Catarrato grapes growing in the Salemi area in the west of the island. Medium bodied, very good structure, intensely fragrant nose. Floral with almonds and a fresh citrussy finish.

35. RUEDA PALACIO DE VIVERO. Castellana
Made from a careful blend of 60% Verdejo and 40% Viura grapes, harvested when perfectly mature. Deliciously fragrant due to the blend of varieties from which it is composed. Smooth palate, fresh and dry, long aftertaste. Perfect companion for all kinds of fish, shellfish or white meat.

36. "LUCCIO" Clare Valley. Pikes
Medium green with yellow tints, restrained aromas of nectarine, apples and talc with a very light celery top. Really tangy with lively limey stone fruits and sone grassy Sauvignon Blanc. It's full of flavour, dry but not overly.

37. MACON BUSSIERES
This clear straw colour wine shows glints of rich gold in the glass. Apple and spice aromas add a whiff of honey on the nose, but not the palate, where it's dry, crisp and tart. Fresh apples and juicy lemons mingle in the flavour with an intriguing touch of stony minerality. A zippy lemony tang persists in the long clean finish.
